2. Service Engagement
2.1 Scope of Service
Services provided by Fimoria are limited to those described in the service agreement or work order confirmed at the time of booking. The scope of work is established at the time of the diagnostic assessment, following which we will communicate to the client what work is proposed before proceeding.
2.2 Service Authorization
Repair or maintenance work will only proceed with authorization from the client or the client's designated representative. We do not perform work that has not been specifically authorized.
2.3 Access Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring that our technicians have reasonable and safe access to the equipment to be serviced at the agreed appointment time. Where access cannot be arranged, the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
2.4 Parts and Components
Where replacement parts are required, we will communicate this to the client before proceeding. Lead times for parts are subject to supplier availability and are outside our control. We will communicate estimated lead times where we are aware of them.
3. Pricing and Payment
Service pricing is communicated to clients at the time of booking or diagnostic assessment. Prices are subject to change; the price applicable to a specific service engagement is the one confirmed at the time of authorization for that engagement.
Payment terms are as specified in the invoice or work order. We reserve the right to require payment at the time of service completion for new clients.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Fimoria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services or from the use of this website. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that is the subject of the claim.
We do not guarantee specific operational outcomes from our services. Equipment performance after service depends on factors including equipment age, overall condition, and operational environment, which are outside our control.
5. No Warranty for Equipment Performance
While we perform our services competently and in accordance with professional standards, we do not warrant that serviced equipment will be free from future faults. Commercial kitchen equipment is subject to ongoing wear and operational demands that are beyond our control after a service visit is complete.
Any specific warranty on parts installed during a service engagement is subject to the terms of the relevant component manufacturer, and we will communicate such terms where applicable.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, design, and layout — is the property of Fimoria or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use website content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
7. Governing Law
